AKA Participated in a Trade Mission
AKA recently participated in a Trade Mission to the Offshore Europe Conference in Aberdeen Scotland as a member of the Atlantic Canadian delegation. The conference, with more than 50,000 in attendance, is one of the largest in the world. It provided an excellent opportunity for AKA to present our products and services to the European Marine community. In 2007, AKA teamed up with XeroPoint Energy, a PEI-based renewable energy development company, to design, build, and install a hybrid power generation and control system for Foss Maritime. As a result, the world’s first hybrid tug boat was launched in January 2009. |
